The Story of Our Humble Beginnings
After a number of collections and numerous accounts with late payments and a judgment, I was left with a Credit Score in the mid 400s with zero chance of obtaining any credit approval. I was beyond frustrated and knew that I needed change if I ever wanted to live the life I envisioned for my new husband and unborn children. However, this point didn’t truly hit home until my husband, and I were searching for a place to live, and I realized that I wouldn’t be able to add my name to any of our applications. It was then that I realized the importance of improving my Credit Score, not just for my husband but for my future as well.
From then, I began studying the inner workings of finance, with a heavy emphasis on debt and credit. Finally, after a few years and a substantial growth in my financial literacy, I was able to remove all of my derogatory accounts, including my student loans and judgment. From that moment, knowing that there are many people in a similar situation I once was, I took it upon myself to help as many people as possible.

Hetty Stoner is a Health Care Provider, Civil Servant, Public Health Advocate, and a Credit and Financial Advisor. Through my experience in these fields, I saw a need to help consumers fight back against the big banks, collection agencies, and credit bureaus that prey upon families struggling with debt and high-interest rates.
During these times, I also realized that many people and families do not discuss credit or the importance of financial literacy at home as part of their upbringing. Coming from a similar situation, I understand the difficulties that come along with missing this crucial information. Hence why I have made it a personal goal to help as many people as possible.
